What the stats mean
Every figure the tracker shows is defined here in one paragraph, with a rough sense of what good looks like. Read the per-round stats together: each one covers a blind spot in the others.
ADR
ADR is average damage per round: total damage dealt divided by rounds played. It counts damage whether or not it turns into a kill, so it rewards consistent impact rather than lucky trades. Around 70 is typical in matchmaking, 80 and above is strong, and 90 plus is a carry performance.
KAST
KAST is the percentage of rounds in which a player got a kill, an assist, survived, or was traded after dying. It measures how often a player was useful, not how much. Roughly 70 percent is average, and anything above 75 means the player rarely dies for nothing.
K/D
K/D is kills divided by deaths across every round played. A K/D of 1.00 means one kill for every death. It is the most quoted CS2 stat and the easiest to inflate by playing passively, which is why it reads best alongside ADR and KAST.
Headshot %
Headshot percentage is the share of a player's kills that were headshots. It reflects crosshair placement and rifle discipline more than raw reaction time. The mid-forties is typical for rifle players in matchmaking, and it drops naturally for players who spend more rounds on the AWP.
Rating
Rating condenses kills, deaths, damage, survival and multi-kill rounds into one number in the HLTV style, where 1.00 is an average performance. Above 1.10 across many maps is consistently good, and 1.20 plus is star territory. It moves fastest when a player wins rounds on their own.
Premier rating
Premier rating, also called CS Rating, is the score Valve assigns in Premier mode. It appears after ten placement wins and moves with every win or loss, with bigger swings early on. Ratings are grouped into seven colour bands, listed in the table below.
Clutch rate
Clutch rate is the share of rounds a player won after becoming the last one alive on their team. It is a low-volume stat, so read it over dozens of matches rather than a handful. Winning one clutch situation in five is strong at any level.
Entry rate
Entry rate is how often a player is involved in the first kill of a round, whether they got it or died for it. Entry success is the share of those opening duels they won. A high entry rate with success above 50 percent is what a good entry fragger looks like.

How the tracker gets its data
Valve does not publish a public API for CS2 matchmaking stats. There is no endpoint that returns a player's Premier rating, K/D or match history, which is why the previous version of this page could not show them, and why every tracker, this one included, reads the numbers from match demos instead.
A demo is the recording Valve keeps of a completed match. When a player submits their Game Authentication Code and a recent share code, the tracker can request the share code of each match that follows, download the demo and parse every round in it: kills, damage, clutches, opening duels, weapons and the map.
Every player in that match is parsed, not only the one who submitted. That is why a player can appear here without ever signing up: someone in one of their games did. Stats accumulate across every parsed match, and each result shows when it was last parsed so you can judge how current it is.
Matches nobody has submitted are invisible to us, so a player with few parsed matches is not a player with few matches. For FACEIT level and Elo, which come from a different ladder entirely, the FACEIT Finder is the tool to use.
Add your own matches
Two codes from Steam are all it takes, and no sign-in is involved. Once they are on file, every match you finish is parsed, and so is every player in it.
Open Steam's match history access page
Sign in to Steam Support and open the page for access to your CS2 match history. It is the only place these codes are issued, and it works in a browser without launching the game. Open the Steam page.
Create a Game Authentication Code
Select Create Authentication Code. Steam shows a code in the form ABCD-EFGHI-JKLM. It identifies your account to the match history service and nothing else.
Submit both codes with your Steam profile
Paste your Steam profile URL or SteamID64, the authentication code and the share code into the form. New matches are parsed as they finish, and your stats update on this page.
The authentication code grants one thing: the ability to request the share codes of your matches, one after another, starting from the share code you give us. It cannot sign in to your account, read your inventory, trade, message anyone or change a setting. It is not a password and it does not expose one.
You can revoke it at any time from the same Steam page, and new matches stop reaching us the moment you do. Matches already parsed stay in the archive, because they belong to the other nine players as much as to you.
Check a pro's settings and crosshair
When a lookup matches a professional player, the result links to their profile. The profiles carry the settings, crosshair and hardware that this tracker does not.
FAQ
CS2 stats questions
Why can't I see my Premier rating?
Your Premier rating appears once at least one of your Premier matches has been parsed. Demos record the rating shown at match time, so a player with only Competitive or Wingman matches in the archive will not have one yet. If you play Premier and it is still missing, submit your codes and the next Premier match you finish will carry it.
Why does this player show stats without submitting?
Because a demo contains all ten players. When anyone in a match submits their codes, the tracker parses the whole match, so every player in it gets a record. It is also why your own stats may already be here before you have submitted anything.
How often do CS2 stats update here?
New matches are fetched and parsed on a rolling schedule after they finish, for every account with codes on file. Each result shows its last-parsed time, so you can see how fresh it is rather than guessing. Matches played before your first submitted share code are not fetched.
Is my Game Authentication Code safe to share?
Yes, within a narrow limit. The code lets us request the share codes of your matches and nothing more. It cannot access your account, inventory, friends or settings, and it is not a password. You can revoke it from the Steam page you created it on, and we stop receiving new matches at once.
