Market depth follows the league calendar, so the same team is priced deeply during its split and thinly outside it. This matters more in League than in esports that run continuous circuits.

Professional League is organised into regional leagues that run their own splits and then send teams to shared international events. While a major league is playing, its matches attract the widest coverage and the most markets per match. Between splits the same teams may not be priced at all, and what remains on a board is whatever is still playing.

Worth being plain about what that means day to day: most of what appears on a live LoL board at any given moment is regional and academy competition rather than tier-one league play, because those competitions run year-round while the major leagues do not.
