CS2 & CS:GO Odds

CS2 odds are the prices bookmakers set on each Counter-Strike 2 match, shown here in decimal format. The board covers 63 tracked lines across 4 live and upcoming events, and refreshes through each round. Prices are aggregated from tracked providers, so the number here can differ from the one you see at any single book.

What CS2 odds mean

A CS2 odds number is the payout multiplier on a result. At 1.75, a winning 10 unit stake returns 17.50, which is the 10 back plus 7.50 profit.

CS:GO odds, CS GO odds and Counter-Strike odds all describe this same market. Valve renamed the game Counter-Strike 2 in September 2023 and books carried the same price structure across, so the older naming still points at the prices on this board. A US audience will also see the match winner market called Vegas odds, which is the same number in a different format.

Odds formats on the board

This board shows decimal odds. The same price converts cleanly to the fractional and moneyline formats used elsewhere.

DecimalFractionalMoneylineImplied probability
1.201/5-50083.3%
1.753/4-13357.1%
2.503/2+15040.0%
4.003/1+30025.0%

What the price implies about win probability

Divide 1 by the decimal price to get the implied probability, so 1.75 implies 57.1% and 2.20 implies 45.5%.

Add those two together and you get 102.6% rather than 100%. That extra 2.6 points is the bookmaker margin, and it is how the book prices in its own return. Every two-way market carries one, which is why the implied probabilities on a match never sum to exactly 100%.

Which CS2 markets appear on the board

The board prices the match winner on every tracked match, and books add map and player markets as an event gets closer. These are the six you will meet most often.

Match winner (moneyline)

The price on which team wins the series. It is the only market on the board that ignores the map score, so a 2-0 and a 2-1 win settle at exactly the same price. US pages often call this the Vegas odds or the moneyline.

Map winner

A price on a single map rather than the series. CS2 maps run MR12, so the first team to 13 rounds takes it, and a map tied at 12-12 goes to an MR3 overtime block where the first team to four wins.

Map handicap

A spread applied to the map score. A -1.5 handicap in a Bo3 only pays on a 2-0 sweep, while the same -1.5 line in a Bo5 pays on any 3-1 or 3-0 result, which makes it a materially different bet at the same number.

Total maps (over/under)

A line on how many maps the series lasts, set at 2.5 in a Bo3 and 3.5 or 4.5 in a Bo5. In a Bo3 the over is a bet that the decider gets played at all, which ties the market directly to the veto.

Total rounds

A line on rounds played in a map. MR12 puts the floor at 13 rounds and the regulation ceiling at 24, so totals sit inside that window and only overtime pushes a map past it.

Player props

Prices on an individual player, usually kills, headshots or opening duels. Props are normally priced per map rather than per series, so one Bo3 can settle the same player line up to three separate times.

Why CS2 lines move

A book opens a CS2 price from a model built on team rating, recent results and map-pool matchup, then moves it as money arrives and as new information lands. Roster news before a match and round outcomes during one are what move a price furthest.

What moves a price before the match

Stand-ins and roster changes move a line hardest, because they invalidate the recent results the opening price was built on. Form, the map-pool matchup and the veto matter next, and LAN results usually carry more weight than online ones. Team strength is the input you can check yourself against the CS2 world rankings and the CS2 team and player stats.

What moves a price in play

CS2 reprices in steps rather than drifting, because the round structure hands out advantages in blocks. The pistol round that opens each half is the sharpest of these, since the loser is forced into a weakened economy for the rounds that follow. The side switch after 12 rounds resets that economy, and a map tied at 12-12 collapses into a short overtime block where a single round swings the price hard. You can check any of it against how each line resolved.

Method: figures cover the 63 CS2 matches currently carrying a price on both sides, out of 63 tracked lines across 4 events. Each pair is normalised so the two sides sum to 100%, which strips the bookmaker margin before the comparison. The widest gap is the largest distance between the two sides on a single match, in percentage points. The snapshot refreshes with the board.

Reading the board and checking event context

Each row carries the two teams, the event, the start time and the current price on each side. The lower the number, the shorter the price and the stronger the favourite.

Three checks are worth making before you trust a price. Confirm the match is the one you think it is on today's CS2 match slate, since organisers reschedule and rename stages often. Check whether both rosters are intact, because a stand-in is the most common reason a price looks generous. Then read the price against team form in the rankings rather than against reputation.

Operator questions, licensing and account details sit outside this board. Those belong with our reviewed CS2 betting sites and the wider CS2 betting hub.

CS2 tournaments priced right now

The board currently carries lines from 4 live and upcoming events. Which tournaments those are changes weekly, and the tier they sit at changes how the prices behave.

Tier-1 events attract the most books and the most money, so their lines converge quickly and move mainly on news. Qualifiers and regional online stages are priced from thinner data, open later and disagree more, which is where the widest gaps on this board usually sit. The current calendar is listed under current CS2 tournaments.

We run the same board for Dota 2 odds and Valorant odds.

CS2 odds FAQ

Why do CS2 odds differ between betting sites?

Books price the same match from different inputs, so their numbers rarely match. Some weight recent LAN results and map-pool depth, others lean on head-to-head history or opening pistol statistics, and each applies its own margin on top. Disagreement is widest on lower-tier matches, qualifiers and regional online stages, where there is less recent data to model and less money to correct a mispriced line. Tier-1 matches converge faster because more books price them and more money moves through them. Two books can also show a different price for the same underlying probability simply because their margins differ, which is why comparing the price you see here against the book itself is worth the extra click.

What does a map handicap mean on a CS2 match?

A map handicap adjusts the map score before the bet settles, so a -1.5 handicap needs the favourite to win by two clear maps. In a Bo3 that means a 2-0 sweep and nothing else, because 2-1 leaves the margin at one map. In a Bo5 the same -1.5 line is a far softer requirement, since 3-0 and 3-1 both clear it and only a 3-2 fails. Series length is the whole difference, so always read a handicap against the format of the specific match rather than the number alone.

Does this page show CS2 case opening odds?

No. This board shows match-betting prices that bookmakers set on professional CS2 matches. Case opening drop rates are a separate subject, covered in our CS2 cases content.

CS2 case drop rates covers that side.

Are these the same prices I will get at the bookmaker?

Not always. Prices here are aggregated from tracked providers and refreshed frequently, and they can differ by operator, region and time of capture. Check the price at the book before placing any bet.

Can I bet on CS2 where I live?

That depends on your country, and often on your state or province. This page is informational, and BO5 displays prices rather than accepting bets. Check your local law and an operator's licensing status before signing up.

Do you cover odds for CS2 Majors?

Yes. Major matches appear on the board once books price them, which is usually after the group-stage draw is confirmed. Between Majors the board carries the tier-1 calendar and its qualifiers.

Format, qualification and winners live on the CS2 Major Championships hub.
