What is a CS2 skin inspect server?
It is a community server configured for previewing weapon finishes in-game. Many provide chat menus or commands that let you choose a weapon, paint kit, wear value, pattern, and sticker setup.
Will using a skin inspect server get me VAC banned?
Using a reputable server-side inspect plugin does not modify your local inventory and should not trigger VAC. Never download a skin changer or injector to use the server; client-side modification is different and can put both your account and computer at risk.
Can I try skins I don't own on a CS2 inspect server?
Yes, when the server provides a cosmetic preview plugin. The selected item is visible only in that server session and is not added to your Steam inventory.
