About the Dreams & Nightmares Case

The Dreams & Nightmares Case was released in January 2022 with skins chosen from Valve's Halloween skinmaker contest. All 17 skins were designed by the community around the theme of dreams and nightmares.

It is popular for three reasons. It has a cheap, liquid AK-47 Covert (the Nightwish), its Butterfly Knife is one of the most wanted knives in the game, and it sits in the weekly drop pool, so most players own one.

Its skins form The Dreams & Nightmares Collection. Trade-ups within that collection stay inside these 17 skins and, since 2025, can reach its knives.
